A warm welcome and heaps of inspiration await in our latest Tom Howley showroom. Located in the heart of Solihull, you’ll find more than just a collection of furniture inside. You’ll be taken on a journey through colour, considered materials and new interior design combinations – bringing more choice to the table for everyone that visits.
All nineteen showrooms represent the best Tom Howley designs, and our new space in Solihull is no exception. Each display complements the other yet has its own story serving as different design inspiration as you move through the space. Visitors can expect to see three full-size kitchens, a walk-in pantry, a boot room, a separate presentation area with a media wall and an office space.
At the front of the showroom, our Butler display takes centre stage. Our exclusive paint colours Marjoram and Tansy, give this imaginative space a ‘classic country’ look, whilst polished nickel hardware and a mirrored splashback provide an updated contemporary twist. The kitchen features a new chimney breast design, a Shaws of Darwen Bradshaw kitchen sink, a striking island bar design, bespoke seating, and dusky, lavender pink accessories peppered throughout the space.
As you move further into the showroom, you’ll find our Devine display, an excellent contrast next to our Butler design. This is one of our more traditional, ornate furniture collections, given a dramatic twist with its enveloping dark paint scheme. A deep aubergine hue, our exclusive colour Stormy Sky adds warmth and richness to the space, further enhanced with burnished brass hardware, natural oak internals and Calacatta Nuvo worktops. In contrast to the sociable Butler design, this striking kitchen has been designed with culinary creativity in mind with two double pantries, a breakfast pantry, a large central island with plenty of prep space and the latest appliance models.
Once you have explored space-saving solutions and been wowed by our stunning Butler and Devine designs, the showroom splits through two doors. You’ll find our Summerville office through the door to the left and our Hartford presentation room through the door to the right.
Our intimate yet striking presentation room is where your kitchen dreams become a reality. Discuss your visions with our designers around the bespoke table and view plans and walkthroughs on the TV within the vast display cabinet. For years people have become braver, not only with colour but with statement design choices in their own homes. The space perfectly demonstrates this with striking ‘Wandle’ William Morris wallpaper, dusted oak details, and a combination of our bold Opal and Inky Sky paint colours.
Towards the back of this unique Tom Howley showroom is our Kavanagh display painted in Avocado. Designed with entertaining in mind, it features a unique island design, including sustainably made &Tradition bar stools and a bespoke bar area with a sleek glazed dresser and pull-out fridge. Botanical elements in the styling heighten the depth of our dark green Avocado paint colour, whilst Caesarstone Arabetto worksurfaces, natural oak internals, and burnished brass handles add warmth and visual interest to the space. A real showstopper of a kitchen with a youthful yet relaxed feel.
Just off the main Kavanagh kitchen area, we have introduced a walk-in pantry, the largest we’ve had on display in a showroom and a beautiful bootility room. This layout and flow within the showroom allows you to visualise how these additional areas can look and function in your own home.
“As clients spend more time in the home, they’re looking for multifunctional spaces that simplify everyday tasks and feature flexible, functional areas. More often, we’re getting asked to design ‘bolt-on’ spaces, such as boot rooms, utilities, and media walls. Our Solihull showroom is all about creating inspiration for the home, showcasing these other rooms, bold new colour choices and interior design ideas.”
Design Director, Tom Howley.
Our perfectly organised walk-in pantry can be found at the back of the showroom. Painted in Moonstone, it features large/high open shelving, open and closed cabinets, fantastic Wolf appliances, a wonderful Ceasarstone Lyra worktop and sleek matte black handles
Lastly, our beautiful bootility room is painted in Chicory with a natural oak bench, a dedicated space for canine friends and innovative storage ideas to meet the demands of daily family life.
