As we bid farewell to 2023, let’s take a moment to reminisce about the remarkable projects that have defined this year for Tom Howley.
Our proudest achievement, undoubtedly, is the inauguration of our 20th showroom in the heart of Nottingham. This meticulously crafted space encapsulates the essence of Tom Howley, featuring four full-size kitchens, a captivating bespoke bar, a media wall, a walk-in pantry, and a stylish boot room.
Our entire team, including designers, fitters, and stylists, dedicated tremendous effort to breathe life into this showroom – each space meticulously designed to provide visitors with a tangible, first-hand experience of how Tom Howley can help transform their homes. The positive feedback has been overwhelming since we opened our doors, from passers-by admiring our exquisite light green Devine kitchen, to clients journeying from various locations to explore our captivating bespoke bar and boot room designs.
Tom Howley showrooms undergo regular updates, featuring innovative storage ideas, state-of-the-art appliances and inspiring interior design concepts. This spring, our Tunbridge Wells showroom received a transformation with the addition of an entirely new additional floor.
The only Tom Howley showroom spanning two floors, it’s a space like no other. You can now see beautiful examples of all six kitchen collections, including our well-loved classic Hartford and our stylish Kavanagh painted in an alluring combination of Nightshade and Pink Dusk.
We wanted to create a space that replicated the entire ground floor of a house, helping our clients to get a sense of all the spaces Tom Howley can help within their homes. As well as the all-important kitchen space, the new floor includes a ‘bootility’ (combined boot room and utility), walk-in pantry, home bar and a TV media wall. Our main objective was to feed the imagination of everyone who visits and demonstrate the quality they will get when choosing us.
Our showrooms have been vibrant hubs for inspiring events throughout the year, from chef demonstrations to flower arranging, open days, and design masterclasses. Partnering with renowned brands, our events have offered guests a hands-on experience with our kitchens.
During October, we orchestrated an exceptional afternoon in collaboration with Caesarstone, offering guests the opportunity to engage in a delightful dried flower workshop with Botanical Tales and a scrumptious pasta-making session with Egle Loit from Darling’s. We’ve also collaborated with a number of our appliance partners, whose chefs shared expert advice and presented delectable seasonal dishes at various remarkable events.
2023 brought two new additions to our exclusive palette – Hazy Sky and Green Meadow. Hazy Sky, a gentle green-grey hue with a sage undertone, exudes calmness and tranquillity. Meanwhile, Green Meadow, a smoky green-blue paint, offers a versatile and subdued option for infusing colour into the kitchen. These additions have been warmly welcomed into our palette, providing homeowners with even more choices to express their style.
This year’s journey has led us to some incredible client projects, from a contemporary kitchen in Perthshire to a Grade I Listed Tudor house in South Shropshire. Each home is a testament to unique visions and inspirations; they never fail to inspire us. January promises to unveil a new client case study – a newly renovated family home featuring a stunning blue Inky Sky Summerville kitchen and striking bespoke bar area. We can’t wait to share more soon!
With new client projects to show off, we launched our 2024 brochure with 118 pages packed with stunning kitchen inspiration. You’ll find an expanded collection of real home case studies and information surrounding our design process. We’ve also added our beautiful walk-in pantries, boot rooms, laundry areas, media walls, and bespoke bars, giving you more ideas to inspire your next project.
Thank you for being part of our journey this year! We’re looking forward to sharing more projects, exciting updates, showroom events and more with you in 2024.
