“Hardware might be a small detail within a kitchen, but it has a huge impact on your space’s overall look and feel,” says Tom Howley, Creative Design Director. “I predict we’ll start to see chrome hardware used less, as warmer metals like antique brass become even more desirable. Gold and bronze finishes lend a touch of vintage charm and pair beautifully with deep oak cabinetry, forest greens, and other rich, nature-inspired hues.”
Increasingly, homeowners are creating dedicated wellness corners and cosy, tranquil nooks designed to inspire relaxation and balance.
From window seats bathed in natural light to inviting armchairs tucked into a corner, these ‘reset spaces’ offer a moment of calm amidst the hustle of daily life. Wellness spots transform kitchens into holistic spaces that nourish both body and soul by incorporating softer textures, warm lighting, and personalised design elements.
Texture is key to crafting kitchens that feel dynamic and engaging in 2025. Mixing contrasting materials and finishes invites visual interest and a tactile experience that transforms a space. Gone are the days when black was a risky choice; 2025 sees it as a confident and versatile hue that transforms kitchens into show-stopping spaces.
“Black, when thoughtfully applied, creates unparalleled drama alongside warmth and intimacy,” shares Tom Howley, Creative Design Director. “For those not ready to commit to an entirely black kitchen, try introducing a black island counter or matte black hardware for just a touch of the trend.”
