After a busy few months of meticulously adding the final touches, photo shoots, and settling into our new space, we officially opened the doors to our stunning Nottingham showroom. As always, we launched our new showroom in style, with a spectacular two-day event filled with engaging conversations, signature drinks and culinary delights.
At the core of our grand opening event, we had a showroom tour and an enlightening presentation delivered by Tom Howley, our Creative Design Director. This offered our guests an immersive experience in the world of kitchen design. Tom shared the creative inspirations behind our new displays and imparted his valuable insights on project planning and trend forecasts for the upcoming year.
Our newly crafted bespoke bar area created a perfect setting for our mixologists to fashion four distinctive cocktails, each one inspired by our latest kitchen displays. But the culinary delights didn’t end there. The event also featured a chef demonstration led by the highly skilled Chef Elliot Johnson, a distinguished Chef Ambassador for Sub-Zero and Wolf.
Throughout the two days, our guests were treated to an array of delectable canapés and main dishes, such as Roasted Teriyaki Salmon with Steamed Rice and Stir-Fried Broccoli, Paprika Dusted Salt Roasted Chicken with Lemon Hollandaise, and White Truffle and Wild Mushroom Risotto, among others. These culinary creations showcased Chef Elliot’s exceptional culinary prowess, using the finest state-of-the-art appliances, leaving our guests completely satisfied.
Chef Elliot Johnson’s impressive journey, which began at the prestigious Petersham Hotel and included a scholarship at Bournemouth and Poole College, is truly inspiring. After excelling at renowned establishments like the Intercontinental Hotel and Claridge’s, he launched JP Dining, offering fine dining and catering services for a diverse clientele. His culinary expertise brought an extra layer of sophistication to our showroom launch, making it an unforgettable experience.
The warmth and expertise of our friendly and knowledgeable team elevate the experience of visiting the Tom Howley Nottingham showroom. We’ve recently sat down with our showroom manager, Sian, and our exceptionally skilled designers, Connie and Darby, to ask them to share an insight into this exceptional new space.
What aspect of your work in the Tom Howley Nottingham showroom are you most excited about?
We’re most looking forward to working in such a beautiful environment. For the designers – our working environment sparks their creativity. They are also excited about delivering the presentations to our clients in the showroom. As a Showroom Manager, I am excited to welcome clients into the showroom, guide them around the beautiful displays, engage in discussions about their projects and share their excitement as their projects progress.
What are some of your favourite features within the showroom?
We’re lucky to have all our collections displayed in our new showroom. Favourite features include our walk-in pantry, which is storage heaven! The boot room eloquently illustrates the bespoke nature of our furniture, catering to a diverse range of lifestyles and practical storage needs. Our Butler kitchen’s bifold breakfast pantry also stands out for its aesthetic appeal and practicality. We also have live appliances on display, including a working Bora hob in our Kavanagh kitchen. It is great for showing clients how this technology works and how it can be integrated into their design.
What type of service can clients expect when they visit this showroom, and how do you help guide them through their visit?
A friendly welcome awaits, as well as a welcome drink whilst browsing. You’ll have the chance to look around in peace or a guided tour of both floors. We will always ensure our clients leave the showroom knowing their next step, from requesting a brochure to advice on product and services or even booking an appointment.
